Regardless, my date and I walked around endlessly wishing the night wouldn’t have to end. But of course it had to end someday. We even wanted to watch another movie together so we could hang out longer. Coincidentally, California haven’t had much rain all year, and this day in particular was raining fairly heavy. As time passed by, we decided we should go home.
We sat in the car, and spoke about how we felt about this date, and how our night went. With each pleasant remark, came with the realization that it’s going to end. We gave each other a hug, and my date said (as you anticipated): I had fun. I can’t wait to see you next week.
I dug my face deep into the crook of his neck. I look at him and replied: Yeah, you said Gravity is a great movie! We’re gonna have to watch that!
My date opens the door, steps one foot out —I knew I just had to kiss him, before I regret it. I shout,
Hey! Um…. can I kiss you?
A quick peck was exchanged
I remarked Wait, wait that didn’t count, one more time.
We seperated, hoping it still wouldn’t end. So we sat in our cars next to each other, texting. Until finally we separated that night.
Such sweet lips belongs to the heavens.
